The Supreme Court of the Altai Republic upheld the ban on materials from Jehovah's Witnesses

On January 27, 2010, the Supreme Court of the Republic of Altai upheld the decision of the city court of Gorno-Altaisk to recognize a number of Jehovah's Witnesses' materials as extremist.

During the meeting, all the petitions of the lawyers of Jehovah's Witnesses, including even the petition for video and photography, were rejected by the court.

Let us recall that earlier the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation dismissed the complaint of Jehovah's Witnesses against the decision of the Rostov Regional Court to ban a number of materials and a religious organization in Taganrog.
