In Karelia, a sentence was passed under Art. 282

On January 29, 2010, the Petrozavodsk City Court (Republic of Karelia) delivered a verdict in the case of 22-year-old Artem G., accused under Part 1 of Art. 282 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (inciting hatred or enmity).

According to the investigation, from May 1 to June 30, 2009, the defendant distributed on the Internet ultra-right text and graphic files, as well as video files "Read to all patriots", "Russian Ghetto - Glory to Russia", "Kranty-Alien Shine of Eyes", "Vandal - our future", "T. N. F. - European skinhead army".

According to the conclusions of the examination of these files, they contain "open and aggressive propaganda of fascism and neo-fascism, direct calls for violent actions against Jews, representatives of Asian and Caucasian peoples, as well as calls and actions aimed at inciting hatred and enmity" .

The court found the young man guilty and sentenced him to 100 hours of compulsory work.
