A criminal case has been opened in Severodvinsk for posting neo-Nazi materials on the Internet

On February 10, 2010, it became known that the investigative department for Severodvinsk (Arkhangelsk region) initiated a criminal case against 21-year-old Nazi skinhead Nikolai Kazanin under Part 1 of Art. 282 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (incitement of national hatred committed publicly or with the use of the media).

The case was initiated based on the results of the FSB check.

In 2008, Kazanin registered his personal page on the VKontakte social network, on which from September 2008 to August 2009 he posted photographs " " promoting fascist paraphernalia: swastikas, flags, German helmets from the Second World War . In addition, he posted four videos with beatings of natives from Central Asia and the Caucasus. In particular, on one of the videos there was a recording with the participation of Maxim Martsinkevich ("Tesak"), preparing food and commenting "this is like the process of cooking a Negro, which, due to toxicity, must first be thoroughly boiled . "

The defendant is on bail.

In April 2010, N. Kazanin was sentenced under Part 1 of Art. 282 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation to 180 hours of compulsory work. In June 2010, the Severodvinsk City Court replaced N. Kazanin's unserved part of the sentence in the form of compulsory work for a period of 148 hours with real imprisonment for a period of 18 days with a sentence to be served in a colony-settlement for malicious evasion from compulsory work.

Recall that in April 2009 it was reported that a criminal case had been opened in the Arkhangelsk region under Part 1 of Art. 282 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (inciting hatred or enmity) against a local student Pavel Ya., who created a nationalist group in one of the social networks Vkontakte.
