Muslim prisoners are being persecuted in two colonies in the Kirov region

In February, from a letter from relatives of prisoners to the Public Monitoring Commission for Public Control over Ensuring Human Rights in Places of Detention, it became known about the systematic abuse of Muslim prisoners in two colonies in the Kirov region. According to this information, in IK-6 in the village of Vostochny and IK-29 in the village of Sorda, Kirov Region, Muslim prisoners are severely beaten, morally humiliated, their personal belongings (essential items) are taken away, they are poisoned by dogs, and they are threatened with rape. Suicide attempts have become more frequent in these colonies.
