On February 12, 2010, it became known that about 56% of parents of first-graders in the Tomsk region chose secular ethics as a subject in the course “Fundamentals of Religious Cultures and Secular Ethics.” More than 20% chose the basics of world religious cultures. OPK was preferred by about 18%.
The distribution of preferences within the framework of the new course in the Tomsk region is close to the results of surveys in neighboring Siberian regions - the Krasnoyarsk Territory and the Novosibirsk Region.
Let us recall that data on the choice of schoolchildren and their parents in several other regions of Russia was previously published.
