In Ugra, the court ordered the provider to limit access to extremist sites

On February 24, 2010, in Nyagan (Yugra), a court ordered the Internet provider OJSC "Regional Technical Center" to restrict access to "extremist" websites by adding IP address filtering rules to the border router.

Earlier in Nyagan, violations were revealed in the work of an Internet provider that provided users with access to Internet resources recognized as extremist. The prosecutor filed a lawsuit to oblige the technical center to restrict access to these Internet sites.

Recall that in January 2010 in Nyagan, a 17-year-old teenager was charged under Part 1 of Article 282 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (incitement of hatred or enmity, as well as humiliation of human dignity) for posting anti-Caucasian materials on the Internet.
