On March 4, it became known that the prosecutor of the Samara region, Yuri Denisov, issued a warning to a local businessman, Talaibek Sheraliev, about the inadmissibility of carrying out extremist activities.
The prosecutor's office of the region, together with the center for combating extremism of the regional police department, conducted an investigation into the activities in Samara of adherents of the international radical religious movement in Islam Tablighi Jamaat, recognized as extremist by the decision of the Supreme Court. The activity of the current on the territory of Russia is prohibited.
The audit found that T. Sheraliev "is a supporter of the Tablighi Jamaat movement and is engaged in propaganda of its ideology, both in Samara and in the Orenburg region," the press service of the prosecutor's office says.
