On March 11, 2010, it became known that at the end of February 2010 in Moscow, in the Solntsevo district, three teenagers were detained, suspected of a series of arsons of stalls in several Moscow markets (according to other sources, the teenagers were detained on the night of March 11, 2010 G.).
The detainees are suspected of setting fire to tents belonging to people of non-Slavic appearance. Two of them have already been charged under Art. 167 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (intentional destruction or damage to property, committed out of hooligan motives, by arson). Also, according to the investigation, teenagers were involved in the attack on four students from Kyrgyzstan, committed on February 23, 2009.
According to media reports, the Department of Internal Affairs of the Western Administrative District of Moscow confirmed the information about the detention of alleged arsonists, while refuting earlier reports that the detainees were suspected of a series of explosions in Moscow.
