The case of Natalya Ignatieva in Khabarovsk

As it became known in early March 2010, on January 20, 2010, the Khabarovsk Investigative Committee of the Investigative Committee of the Investigative Committee for the Khabarovsk Territory issued a decision to bring Natalia Ignatieva as a defendant in the case under Part 1 of Art. 282 (inciting hatred) of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.

Recall that the reason for initiating the case was a poem read by Ignatieva at the rally called "The last wish" Ivans ". It is written on behalf of" oligarchs "and representatives of the" authorities "who enriched themselves from the extraction and sale of natural resources, in the form of an appeal to the common people (" Ivans", "Papuans"), mired in drug addiction and alcoholism.═

Earlier, during the autumn of 2009, a psychological and psychiatric examination was carried out, which, in particular, came to the following conclusions:

*"The statements contained in the text with the title "The last wish" Ivanam ..." excite strongly colored negative emotions, enmity and hatred towards the social group that is associated with the concept of "WE". "═the authorities, the Government and the President of the Russian Federation are implied, as proteges of foreign states..."

"The statements contained in the text with the title "The last wish" Ivanam "...", ... humiliate the dignity of people (groups of persons) associated with the appeal "You" on the basis of nationality (Russians). These are rude swear words that characterize Russians as: "pigs", "cattle", "shit", etc. "*

As we wrote earlier, we consider it absurd to bring Ignatieva to justice for reading an undeniably satirical poem.
