In Syktyvkar, nuns held a rally in connection with the suspension of the activities of their monastery

On March 12, in Syktyvkar, the nuns of the Exaltation of the Cross Convent held a rally at St. Stephen's Cathedral in the city about the decision of the court and the actions of the bailiffs. Recall that in early March, by decision of the Knyazhpogost District Court, the activity of the monastery was suspended due to violations identified by the State Fire Supervision Service during a routine inspection.

The Republican Foundation "Exaltation of the Cross" spread a message that, following the results of the inspection of the monastery, the State Fire Supervision Authority appealed to the district court with a demand to vacate two buildings of the nursing building from residents until the identified shortcomings are eliminated. In this regard, the Syktyvkar and Vorkuta diocese prepared a complaint to the Russian government.
