In Kovrov, a case under Art. 282

On March 25, 2010, a case under Part 1 of Art. 282 (incitement of national hatred committed in public) against Alexander Kulkov.

According to the investigation, in January 2009, a 19-year-old young man painted xenophobic graffiti on the walls of three residential buildings in the city of Kovrov. One of the inscriptions contained a call for the use of violence against persons of "Caucasian nationality."

The investigation was carried out by the Kovrov branch of the Federal Security Service of Russia in the Vladimir region.

In early May 2010, the court sentenced Kulkov to 120 hours of compulsory work.
