On April 1, it became known that the Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation issued a warning to the Islamic Cultural Center of Russia.
"In violation of paragraph 5 of article 29 of the federal law "On Non-Commercial Organizations," the organization's president, Abdul-Vahed Niyazov, was paid remuneration according to the center's staffing table, Interfax-religion quotes the text of the warning.
In addition, the ICC did not provide documents on the approval of the financial plan and the use of property for 2007-2009. The audit conducted by the Ministry of Justice showed that the frequency of meetings was not observed and the activities of the control and audit commission were not confirmed.
It was also established that the ICC, contrary to the declared all-Russian status, did not have branches in the regions.
Identified violations must be eliminated by May 10.
