In Tver, the case of members of the Nordic Front group was brought to court

On April 6, 2010, the prosecutor's office of the Central District of Tver approved the indictment in a criminal case against four (previously reported five) young people (from 17 to 19 years old), members of the Nordic Front group. The case was sent to the Central District Court of Tver for consideration on the merits.

The defendants are charged with Part 1 of Article 280 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (public calls for extremist activity). In addition, two of them are charged under Part 1 of Article 282 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (actions aimed at inciting hatred and enmity committed in public).

The activities of the group "Nordic Front" lasted from June 2008 to February 2009. Members of the group downloaded "extremist" materials from the Internet. They glued neo-Nazi stickers, using stencils "applied inscriptions of extremist content" on the facades of houses, power line poles, public transport stops in the Central, Moscow, Zavolzhsky districts of Tver.

The young people also developed their own emblem with a stylized Kolovrat (swastika) and the Odal symbol, which was used in the troops of Nazi Germany by employees of the SS Main Directorate for Race and Settlements.

The activity of the group was suppressed by officers of the Federal Security Service of Russia for the Tver region and the Internal Affairs Directorate for the Tver region. The preliminary investigation of the case was carried out by the Investigative Committee for the city of Tver of the Investigative Committee of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for the Tver Region.
