On April 12, 2010, the Leninsky District Court of Perm, which was considering the case against the chairman of the Perm Civil Chamber, Igor Averkiev, terminated the trial due to the fact that the prosecutor's office dropped the charges.
Recall that Averkiev was accused under Part 1 of Art. 280 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (public calls for the implementation of extremist activities) in connection with the article "Let's leave the Caucasus - we will become freer and stronger."
The prosecutor's office dropped the charge after a forensic linguistic examination at the Urals Regional Forensic Center of the Russian Ministry of Justice, which showed no signs of extremism in the article.
CASE IS CLOSED. AVERKIEV IS NOT AN EXTREMIST AGAIN // Communication from the press service of the Perm Civil Chamber. 2010. April 12.
