Representatives of various faiths took part in the “Islam against Terror” march in Moscow.

On April 20, 2010, a march "Islam against terror" was held in Moscow, in which Muslims of Moscow, as well as representatives of other faiths, including members of the "Orthodox Corps" of the Nashi movement, took part. More than a thousand people took part in the action.

The march was initiated by the Muslim youth of Moscow in connection with the explosions in the Moscow metro that occurred on March 29, 2010. Muslims are concerned about the possibility of xenophobic, in particular, anti-Muslim sentiments in society. The action was supposed to demonstrate inter-religious solidarity. "Young people of different faiths want to warn society against labeling representatives of certain religions," the press release said.

The event was attended by the slogans "We will not allow enmity between Muslims and Christians", "Muslims are the first victims of terror", "Anti-Islamists are fascists of the 21st century", "We are against terrorism and aggression, we are for peace and tolerance", "Millions of Muslims in WWII gave their lives for the country" and others.

The action was attended by the head of the "Orthodox Corps" of the youth movement "Nashi" Boris Yakemenko, the head of the Moscow religious community of Muslims "Darul-Arkam" Muhammad Karachay, the head of the Center for Strategic Studies of Religion and Politics of the Modern World, a member of the Civic Chamber of the Russian Federation Maxim Shevchenko and others.
