Nationalist May Day

On May 1, 2010, May Day rallies and marches took place in Russia. Nationalists participated in these events in many cities. Basically, the organizers of these actions were the regional branches of the DPNI. In addition to Moscow and St. Petersburg, events with the participation of nationalists were held in 10 other cities.

The event was attended by: Movement Against Illegal Immigration (DPNI), Russian Public Movement (ROD) (K. Krylova), ROD-Russian Action (neo-Nazi group of football fans), Russian Liberation Front (RFO) "Memory", Russian National Bolshevik Front (RNBF) (represented by Roman Golovkin), People's Militia of Minin and Pozharsky (NOMP) (represented by V. Kvachkov), "Parabellum" (represented by Yu. Ekishev), "Slavic Force" (ex-"Slavic Union") , "Russian Order", "Union of Orthodox Banner Bearers".

The procession participants carried the slogans "Labor, nation, freedom!", "Glory to Russia!", "Less migrants - more wages!", "No to political repressions!", "Russia is Russian land", "Russian order on Russian land" and "Russian, you're right!" . Despite the warnings of the organizers, the participants of the event threw up their hands in a fascist salute. Those gathered, chanting "Peace-work-May, guest worker, leave!" and "Glory to Russia!" , marched from the VDNH metro station to the Ostankino pond, where the rally began.

Speakers at the rally were Georgy Borovikov (RFO "Memory"), Vladimir Tor (DPNI), Anton Susov (DPNI), Konstantin Krylov (ROD), Rostislav Antonov (DPNI, ROD-Novosibirsk), rock singer Alexander Hamer, head of the Parabellum movement " Yuri Ekishev, head of the NOMP Vladimir Kvachkov, representative of the Slavic Power movement.

Police officers detained one man who had a baseball bat with him.

In St. Petersburg, the audience marched along Nevsky Prospekt to St. Isaac's Square, chanting "Fewer immigrants - higher wages!", "Let's keep Russia Russian!", "Yesterday Serbia, today Russia!" Russian city . The procession was attended by activists of the DPNI, the Russian Imperial Movement and the National Socialist Initiative. The procession ended with a rally on St. Isaac's Square near the building of the Legislative Assembly of St. Petersburg, at which Andrei Kuznetsov, deputy coordinator of the St. Petersburg branch of the DPNI, spoke. In total, about 150 people took part in the event.

In Nizhny Novgorod, a procession took place along Molodezhny Prospekt and a rally of nationalists on Kiselev Square (opposite the GAZ Palace of Culture). The action was attended by about 80 people marching under the slogan "Peace-Labor-May, guest worker, leave!" . After the action, 20 people were detained.

In Perm, during the construction of the participants of the event in columns, employees of the Center for Combating Extremism and the Criminal Investigation Department detained 25 activists of the DPNI-Perm.

In Kursk , at the gathering place of the column taking part in the May Day demonstration, the coordinator of the regional branch of the DPNI-Kursk Sofya Budnikova, the head of the regional center of public relations of the DPNI-Kursk and a number of supporters of the movement were detained. They were confiscated paraphernalia and visual agitation.

In Syktyvkar "Russian May Day" was held by the activists of the "Frontiers of the North". The event was attended by 50 people. Aleksey Kollegov, head of the movement, spoke at the rally.

In Kirov, participants of the "Russian May Day Labor" held a procession in the city center and a rally. The event was attended by about 250 people who walked with banners "Wake up Russia!", "If not WE, then WHO?" and the slogans "Peace, labor, May, guest worker leave!", "Russian worker, wake up!", "Russian, help the Russian!", "Glory to Russia!", "Russian forward!" . The creators of the local DPNI, who are under investigation , spoke at the rally : Ivan Mikheev, Denis Tyukin and Alexander Tyufyakov.

In Ulyanovsk , the audience marched through the city, chanting "Russia - Russian Order!", "282 - shame on Russia!", "Peace, work, May - guest worker leave!", "Today an immigrant, tomorrow an occupier!" . The event was held jointly with the National Bolsheviks.

In Petrozavodsk, the May Day procession was led by autonomous nationalists. Participants carried a banner and burned flares. The number of participants is about 8 people.

In Samara, there was also a procession organized by autonomous nationalists (Black Bloc). The event was attended by about 20 people, stretching the banner "Labor, nation, socialism."

In Slavyansk-on-Kuban (Krasnodar Territory), DPNI activists who went to the May demonstration under the slogans "282 - the shame of Russia" and "Russian, help the Russian" were detained.

A rally was held in Krasnoyarsk (in cooperation with the NBP and RNU). About 30 people gathered under the flags of DPNI.

Marches of nationalists under the flags of DPNI also took place in Tambov and Vologda .

In Volgograd, the "Russian March" was held on May 6, 2010. The event, in addition to Volgograd, was attended by residents of Mikhailovsky, Olkhovsky and Uryupinsk districts of the region. According to local media, about 80 people took part in the procession. A column with crosses, icons, banners, imperial flags and ethnocentric and anti-NATO slogans marched from the Metroelectrotrans Palace of Culture to the House of Officers.
