On May 5, 2010, in Revda (Sverdlovsk Region), from the balcony of one of the residential buildings on Spartak Street, a young man (born 1991) was waving a flag with Nazi symbols.
Police arrived at the scene and arrested the perpetrator. It turned out to be Evgeny Galeev (born 1991), previously convicted of robbery. He said that the flag with Nazi symbols was given to him by his brother as a souvenir.
During a search of the detainee's apartment, a sports cap with slits for the eyes was found. E. Galeev managed to break the flag and lower it into the sewer.
Currently, the police are checking whether Galeev is involved in the activities of ultra-right organizations.
An administrative case was initiated under Part 1 of Art. 20.3 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (propaganda and public display of Nazi paraphernalia).
