The prosecutor's office demanded that the school director provide a list of Armenian employees

It is reported that this is the fourth check in the last month.

Employees of Rosobrnadzor deny the agency's involvement in these checks. However, it is reported that earlier Rosobrnadzor received "appeals from citizens about certain facts of discrimination on ethnic grounds at school" and about "excesses in the selection of teaching staff by the leadership . " These complaints were sent to the Moscow Department of Education.

The Minister of Education and Science of Russia Andrei Fursenko, commenting on the situation, said that "it is unacceptable to demand information about the nationality of teachers and students . "

Sergey Komkov, president of the All-Russian Education Fund, said that this is not the first time he has faced such a situation. "In the last year and a half: the prosecutor's office has become very active in this regard. Both the Tatar schools in Moscow were subjected to such checks, and the Ukrainian one; now it has come to the Armenian school," he said.
