On May 14, 2010, it became known that the public organization "Tariqat" in Bashkortostan appealed to the Minister of Health of the Republic Andrei Yevsyukov with a request to instruct the chief doctors of districts and cities of the republic to record the death of Muslims without an autopsy, except for cases of violent death.
The letter says that at present, after a natural death, Muslims are forced to give the body of the deceased to the employees of the Ministry of Health of the Republic for an autopsy, which is contrary to Islam.
