Criminal case for publishing a book not considered extremist

In May 2010, the SO for the SEAD of the Investigative Committee of the UPC of the Russian Federation initiated a criminal case under paragraph "b" of Part 2 of Art. 282 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (incitement of national hatred or enmity committed using official position) in relation to the editor-in-chief of the Russkaya Pravda Press publishing house Anatoly Bragin, who published V. Istarkhov's book "Blow of the Russian Gods" , the decision to recognize which as extremist material was canceled.

On May 14, 2010, Bragin was called to face charges.

Recall that in December 2009 the Prosecutor General's Office insisted on initiating a criminal case for distributing this book, although it was no longer considered extremist material.
