Anti-Semitic actions in Ulyanovsk

On May 9, 2010, a group of unknown people attacked the building of the Jewish community center in Ulyanovsk. The attack was stopped by a police squad. On May 10, a second attack was made: the attackers threw stones at the windows.

In addition, the statement of the Federation of Jewish Communities of Russia (FEOR) states that on April 20, 2010, signs "Death to the Jews" appeared in several districts of the city with the image of a swastika. On May 1, anti-Semitic leaflets were distributed at the CPRF rally.

Let us recall that earlier in January 2008 in Ulyanovsk, members of the RONS staged an anti-Semitic action near the building of the Ulyanovsk Regional Jewish Cultural Autonomy. In September 2008, the attackers were convicted .
