Administrative case against a communist in Perm

On June 11, 2010, it became known that the court Industrial district of Perm transferred the case under Part 1 of Art. 20.3 (propaganda Nazi symbols) of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation in relation to the second secretary of the regional committee of the Communist Party in Prikamye Sergei Andreyanov.

The reason for initiating the case was the publication on the website of the organization cartoon, in which the last letter in the abbreviation for housing and communal services is shown as swastikas. The image illustrated a call for a rally against the increase in housing and communal services tariffs. and was removed from the site by the time the case went to court.

In our opinion, this cartoon is not aimed at propaganda. ideas of Nazism, and therefore the case against Andreyanov is unlawful. Sources
