In the wake of publications about a group of "seaside partisans" , in particular, details of the investigation into one of the racist attacks four years ago became known.
According to Primorye media, Andrei Suhorada and Alexander Kovtun were defendants in a criminal case on a racist attack on citizens of the DPRK in December 2006. Recall that then as a result of a brutal attack, three people were injured , two of whom later died in the hospital.
Nothing was known about the investigation of this case. And only now, in connection with the public interest in the gangster group, information has been published that the attackers were nevertheless caught and convicted (in particular, on a "serious" charge - part 4 of article 111 (intentional infliction of grievous bodily harm, resulting in the death of the victim) up to 15 years in prison). The motive of hatred in the accusation, apparently, was not taken into account.
When exactly the verdict was passed and how many people were convicted is unknown. However, it is known that A. Suhorada spent a year in a correctional colony, after which he was released on parole. A. Kovtun, who by that time had not reached the age of 18, received a suspended sentence.
