Case against Nursi follower in Nizhny Novgorod

On June 22, 2010, the Department for the Investigation of Particularly Important Cases of the Investigative Committee of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for the Nizhny Novgorod Region charged an Azerbaijani citizen under Part 1 of Art. 282 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (inciting religious hatred using the media).

Earlier, the accused was detained for publishing Said Nursi's books banned for extremism on his website.

As a reminder, we do not consider the ban on "Nurcular" and the decision to recognize the books of Said Nursi as extremist materials.
