A case under Article 282 has been initiated against Scientologists in the Moscow region

On July 23, 2010 it became known that the management The Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for the Moscow Region opened a criminal case under Art. 282 (excitement hatred) of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation in connection with the work of the Center for Dianetics and Scientology in Shchyolkovo near Moscow.

The UPC reports that earlier in the office of Scientologists in Shchyolkovo there was searched, printed materials, audio and video media were confiscated. The confiscated materials were sent for examination to the Research Institute of Culturologists and Institute of Linguistics RAS. Sources
