July 25, 2010 representatives of the Movement for the Protection of the Khimki Forest met with Alexander Semchenko, head of the Teplotekhnik company, leading deforestation. A. Semchenko is a bishop of the Church Evangelical Christians in Russia. During the meeting, A. Semchenko advised the activists "not to go against the state machine."
An agreement was reached to suspend cutting until 28 July.
Recall that on July 23, an attack was made on the camp of environmentalists . Later, A. Semchenko admitted that he had organized this attack himself.
