In the Moscow region, government officials invaded Baptists during a service

April 18, 2010 in Elektrostal (Moscow region) 12 state officials, including an FSB officer, employees of the Ministry of Emergency situations and several persons in civilian clothes, invaded the Baptists during morning worship. The Council of Baptist Churches is not by a registered organization and is found in a private home.

Law enforcement officers demanded to stop the service, all Participants were asked to submit documents. The authorities filmed everything what is happening on camera, despite the objections of believers, and presented a photocopy court decision justifying the search "due to the fact that the assembly unregistered religious organization." A copy of the document was provided to the Baptists was not.

Also, without the permission of the owner of the house, all the rooms and attic was searched. Several personal letters were seized without proper for that permission. During the interrogation, the believers were asked in particular about how much money they give to the needs of the church.

On April 19, a group of young people shouting “Baptists are sectarians!” broke all the windows in front of the house.
