On August 5, the verdict of the Nizhny Novgorod Regional trial against three activists of the "Russian National Unity (RNU): Roman Guryanov, Ilya Yermolin and Kirill Cherkasov. As a reminder, in May 2010 they were convicted for the murder of a citizen of Uzbekistan on the grounds of national hatred (pp. "g", "l" part 2 of article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).
The Supreme Court of the Russian Federation did not satisfy any of their cassation appeals and left the verdict unchanged.
Recall that this is not the first time R. Guryanov and I. Yermolin have become defendants in a criminal case on racist violence. In 2007, they were convicted as part of a group of 9 people for attacking two natives of Azerbaijan. The court then sentenced them to 1 year probation.
