At the beginning of August 2010, the decision of the board of directors of Russian Milk OJSC was published. In his opinion, his president Vasily Boyko the Great, drought and fires in Russia happened “due to our sins and the sins of our ancestors.” “To promote repentance in our people,” the board of directors obliged all employees of the holding company “Your Financial Trustee” (which includes OJSC “Russian Milk”) to take the course “Fundamentals of Orthodox Culture” within a year. Employees who are in a civil, but not church, marriage, by decision of the board of directors, must get married before October 14 (the Orthodox holiday of the Intercession of the Mother of God) under threat of dismissal. New employees hired to the holding must also get married within three months.

In addition, the document states that “all employees who commit or facilitate the commission of an abortion are subject to dismissal due to reduction from position.”

The Moscow Region Prosecutor's Office began checking this document.

Let us recall that in 2007, V. Boyko-Veliky (then he bore the surname Boyko) was sent to a pre-trial detention center on charges of land fraud as part of the Russian Switzerland development program; in 2008, a bail of 50 million rubles was released. According to Gazeta.ru, the case against the entrepreneur was closed.
