Chapel in Sergiev Posad destroyed

In the first half of August 2010 in Sergiev Posad In the Moscow region, unknown people destroyed the walls of a chapel under construction and smashed a plaque at the construction site of the church in honor of St. Fedor Ushakov.

According to a representative of the Sergiev Posad Cossacks, earlier it was planned to build an equestrian school on this site. However, local residents expressed dissatisfaction the prospect of getting another church instead of a school, which in the district enough.
