The trial of the imam of the Ingoda mosque in Chita

In August 2010, it became known about the trial in Chite, which began at the end of July. The case of the imam of the Ingodinsky mosque, Musa Kamurzoev, is being considered. accused of illegal acquisition, storage of explosives, the manufacture of ammunition and adherence to "Wahhabism".

The investigation believes that in January 2010 M. Kamurzoev in in collusion with an unidentified person acquired an explosive device. On April 30, 2010, a criminal case was opened on part 2 of article 222 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (illegal acquisition, transfer, sale, storage, transportation or carrying firearms, their main parts, ammunition by a group of persons by prior agreement). During the investigation, the case was retrained, now the imam is accused under Part 1 of Art. 222 (illegal acquisition, transfer, sale, storage, transportation of weapons and ammunition).

In addition, according to operational data, the defendant is involved in the creation "Wahhabi" cell after studying abroad.

Imam's defense believes that there are numerous violations in the case.

Recall that in July 2010 a group of human rights activists appealed to the prosecutor's office of the Trans-Baikal Territory with a complaint against the actions of employees of the Center for countering extremism by the Regional Internal Affairs Directorate and the regional FSB, which discriminate against Muslims.
