In Belgorod, a sentence was passed under Art. 282 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation

On August 23, 2010, the Oktyabrsky District Court of the city of Belgorod delivered a verdict in the case against a resident of the regional center Alexander Ostapchuk (born 1991) for the provocative slogan that he wrote on the walls of the city's houses, bus stops and banknotes , ostensibly on behalf of Islamic fundamentalists.

The young man was found guilty under Part 1 of Art. 282 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (inciting national hatred), he was sentenced to 160 hours of mandatory works.

The criminal case was investigated by the Belgorod Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of the RF Investigative Committee for the Belgorod Region.
