Youtube is allowed again in Khabarovsk

On September 3, 2010, the Khabarovsk Regional Court, in cassation, amended the decision of the Central District Court of Komsomolsk-on-Amur, which obliged the local provider RA RTS Rosnet LLC to close access to several content servers by adding filtering rules for the IP addresses of these servers on the border router sites.

Let us recall that the decision blocked access to the network libraries http://thelib.ru/ , http://www.zhurnal.ru/ and lib.rus.ec , to the site http://web.archive.org/ - a mechanical archive of all indexed sites over many years, as well as http://www.youtube.com/ . The court motivated its decision by the fact that these resources contain extremist materials.

According to the decision of the regional court, the provider is obliged to limit access only to specific pages where extremist materials are posted, and not to entire sites.
