Police raid on the premises of DUMER in Moscow

On September 17, 2010, police cordons cordoned off the prayer premises on Ugreshskaya street in Moscow, rented by the community of the Spiritual Administration Muslims of the European part of Russia (DUMER). At the end of the Friday prayer police officers entered the premises, those present were divided into two groups - Muscovites and visitors. All documents were checked.

At the same time, the inspectors themselves did not introduce themselves. and did not show any documents, but on one of the cars there was an inscription: "OVD "Printers" of the South-Eastern Administrative District of Moscow".

One of the arrivals explained that they were checking on a signal from the local population, but the prayer room is located in an industrial area where residential there are no houses.

Recall that residents of the South-Eastern Autonomous Okrug of Moscow are protesting against the construction of a mosque in Tekstilshchiki.
