Baptist bishop sues defenders of Khimki Forest

On September 20, 2010, it became known that PO Teplotechnik LLC (construction contractor expressway Moscow-St. Petersburg) Alexander Semchenko, who is Bishop and President of the Union of Churches of Evangelical Christians in Russia, turned to Savelovsky District Court with a lawsuit against 11 activists who participated in the protests against cutting down the Khimki forest. According to the participant movement "In Defense of the Khimki Forest" Andrey Margulev, the claim was drawn up with numerous violations, with which claims are usually not accepted.
