On September 4, 2010, it became known that an initiative group of residents of the Tekstilshchiki district in Moscow filed 1,834 signatures on 195 signature sheets against the construction of a mosque to the prefecture of the SEAD of the capital.
By October 27, 6536 signatures had already been collected.
Recall that in the action about 500 people took part against this construction, which took place on September 11. Far-right activists were present among the participants and organizers.
On November 2, an appeal was handed over to the reception room of the President of the Russian Federation, under which about 10 thousand people signed.
