The case of a Nizhny Novgorod resident suspected of calls to kill the patriarch has been dismissed

In September 2010, it became known that in the Prioksky District Court of Nizhny Novgorod, in connection with the death of a suspect, a criminal case was dropped against 42-year-old local resident Dmitry Shubin, suspected of posting on his page on one of the social networks a call to kill the head of the Russian Federation. Orthodox Church "strength of spirit".

Let us recall that D. Shubin was charged with Part 1 of Article 282 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (incitement of hatred or enmity, as well as humiliation of human dignity).

The trial began on July 23, 2010, but was postponed. And on August 16, 2010, D. Shubin died.

Meanwhile, in August 2010, a criminal case under the same article was opened in Gatchina, Leningrad Region, against Dmitry Lebedev, who took part in a discussion on Shubin’s page.
