Neo-Nazi Rodnovers sentenced

October 5, 2010 to the Moscow City Court delivered a verdict in the case of neo-Nazi Rodnovers David Bashelutskov, Stanislav Lukhmyrin and Yevgenia Zhikhoreva, who were accused of a series of murders, attempted murders and organizing bombings.

According to the totality of the sentences of E. Zhikhoreva (previously convicted in the case of another group of neo-Nazis) was sentenced to 8 years of imprisonment with serving a sentence in a penal colony. D.Bashelutskova the court sentenced to 9 years in prison with a sentence to be served in a colony strict regime. S. Lukhmyrin was sentenced to 21 years in prison to be served in a penal colony regime due to the fact that he is the only one of all the defendants in the case at the moment committed crimes was an adult.

The defendants were acquitted of several crimes, according to paragraphs. "A", "c", part 2, art. 282 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, and the court acquitted D. Bushelutskov and S. Lukhmyrin under part 3, Art. 161 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (robbery committed by a group of persons) for non-involvement.

Earlier it was reported about the accusation of neo-Nazis under paragraphs “a”, “e”, “g”, “i”, “l” part 2 of article 105 (murder two or more persons, committed with particular cruelty, out of hooligan motives motivated by national hatred), paras. "a", "c" part 2 of article 205 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (terrorism committed by an organized group, resulting in property damage), paragraphs "a", "c" part 2 of article 282 (inciting national hatred committed by an organized group with the use of violence), part 2 of article 33 subparagraphs “a”, “e”, “g”, “i”, "l" part 2 of article 105 (attempted murder), part 2 of article 33 subsections. "a", "c" part 2 of article 205 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (preparation for committing a terrorist act) of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.

The case went to trial on 28 May 2010 and was heard by a panel of three judges. At the request of the defense, the case was heard in a closed court session in to ensure the safety of participants in the process.
