In early November 2010, it became known that the Pskov the diocese appealed to the regional Arbitration Court with a claim against the parish of the Russian Orthodox Church Abroad in the village of Zhabory, Porkhov district, Pskovskaya areas. The diocese lays claim to the church house occupied by the community.
The parish came under the jurisdiction of ROCOR in 1998 and was then expelled from the Church of the Intercession located in the village. By agreement with the village administration, the community occupied a building that belonged to no one, was in a state of disrepair. Believers restored the building, for 2010 in it houses a refectory, a workshop and living quarters for a large families, a disabled person and several pensioners.
On November 1, the parish held a meeting at which it received decision to defend the building in court. Sources
