A schoolboy was beaten in Blagoveshchensk

November 15, 2010 in Blagoveshchensk (Amur Region) on the territory of a secondary school, a group of teenagers beat a student 10th grade. The version of the attack motivated by national hatred is not ruled out.

Boy received a closed craniocerebral injury, nose fracture, soft tissue contusion and abdomen, multiple abrasions and was hospitalized.

Initially, on November 24, 2010, the Department of Inquiry issued a decision on refusal to initiate a criminal case "due to the lack of composition crimes". However, at the request On November 29, 2010, the prosecutor of Blagoveshchensk initiated a criminal case under part 2 article 116 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (beating out of hooligan motives).

The investigation of the case is under the control of the prosecutor of the Amur Region. Authorized under the President of the Russian Federation on the rights of the child, Pavel Astakhov also took control of the case.

The security guard of the school where the student was beaten was fired for inaction.
