At first, I was upset for a long time about what Russia received the right to host the World Cup. Not because I confess the Bolshevik slogan of the defeat of their own government, and therefore that deep down I am a humanist and I feel sorry for the people who now will inevitably fall under the rink of total construction of everything and everyone - from railroad tracks (with inevitable collapse on suburban electric trains) to hotels and roads with the selection of houses and businesses from those who are unfortunate enough to be on the way.
Then I, along with everyone, had fun about Minister Mutko.
Then a tragedy happened - a man died in a fight. Egor Sviridov, a Spartak fan, a member (and, apparently, not an ordinary one) of the largest and most aggressive fan "firm" of the club - "Phratries" (not an ordinary one - because it's hard to imagine that about an ordinary member of condolences will be expressed by the RFS).
This tragedy was almost like a copy of another - the death of Yury Volkov at Chistye Prudy in the summer.
However, both the way events developed after the death of Volkov, and the way events began to unfold now, perfectly illustrates the situation, expressed by Chrysostom our Mr. Mutko: "from the unique moment" .
And here and there, law enforcement agencies generally lost information field to nationalists who managed in a short time spread the most beneficial versions of what happened to them: "Caucasian lawlessness", "corrupt cops", "defenseless Russians" ... But Then the course of events changed in a strange way. In August, fan firms, including the management of "Phratria", even at the cost of frank confrontation with the bulk of its members, categorically refused "nationalist" version of the protest, demanding only justice and objectivity in the investigation of a crime. It got to the point where ultra-right activists were expelled from rallies as provocateurs organizations when trying to put on / raise / write the appropriate symbols and slogans. And although, of course, there was little doubt about what moods really dominate among the audience (for example, my friend with non-Slavic appearance almost beaten for trying to take a picture pavilion of the metro station "Chistye Prudy" with photographs and flowers), outside it hardly escaped or escaped beyond the control of the organizers. It was a clear demonstration of negotiability with the authorities and, certainly their effective blackmail: look, we are a force, and the force organized and numerous. We cannot be ignored. But we understand political moment...
And now the moment has come. A few days ago we were who? Right, we were contenders for the organization of the 2018 World Cup. Applicants are not obvious. Yes, and with serious claims (absolutely fair) to us about the racism of our fans. Under the pressure of numerous foreign publications and a whole series of racist incidents of the RFU, although not acknowledged the problem, but still launched something like program "Tolerance". (How the football functionaries of Russia spoke about racism, blaming the latter on Caucasian fans who hung out on an anti-Nazi banner in the stadium is a completely different story: represent as fascists people demonstrating a crossed-out swastika, and see no racism in hooting and banners with bananas in relation to black players - this is apparently a diagnosis.)
So, now we are the hosts of the 2018 World Cup. No one will take it from us understand? Therefore, it is possible to block Leningradsky Prospekt, break glass in tents with shawarma, yelling chants, the most censored of which will be "Russia for the Russians" - and the police will say more than once that there are no racist slogans on this procession and on all subsequent ones (not I doubt that they will) did not hear and that everything was very correct.
"If yu giv as e chans, fifa wil neve rigret it. Yu wil be proud of vee chois" .
From myself I will add: wellcome, diar friends.
