A rally “Moscow for everyone” was held in the capital

December 26, 2010 in Moscow on Pushkin Square rally against xenophobia "Moscow for all". The event was visited, according to various estimated at 1,500 to 2,500 people.

Recall that the rally was organized on the initiative of Viktor Shenderovich, who addressed the audience in this way: "Dark, aggressive, incited people who threw "ridges" at the Eternal Flame, drew a swastika, shouted their obscene chants, they say that they are speaking from the name of the whole people. This cannot be allowed."

In addition to Viktor Shenderovich, before those who came made by: public activist Evgenia Chirikova, pilot, hero of Russia - Magomed Tolboev, writers Dmitry Bykov, Marietta Chudakova and Alexei Simonov, directors Pavel Bardin, Valery Todorovsky, Pavel Lungin and Henrietta Yanovskaya, poet Sergei Gandlevsky, bard Timur Shaov, actor Igor Yasulovich, editor-in-chief of the magazine "Continent" Igor Vinogradov, as well as former Minister of Economy of the Russian Federation Andrei Nechaev and former deputy of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR Yuri Ryzhov. V. Shenderovich also read out a letter from human rights activist Elena Bonner and an appeal from actor Maxim Vitorgan, who failed to come to the rally.

The participants were holding posters with the slogans "No to fascism and nashism", anti-xenophobic verses, and a group of young people demonstrated tolerance with posters "We love shish kebab", "We love chuchkhella", "We love chak-chak", etc.

The event was emphatically apolitical, those present well-known political figures - Ilya Yashin, Leonid Gozman, Vladimir Ryzhkov and others - did not speak on the square
