The management of a Moscow school is unhappy that Protestant schoolgirls gave their classmates the New Testament

On December 24, 2010, students of the Moscow general education School N 2032, girls aged 13 and 14 presented the New Testament to their classmates. One of the schoolgirls handed out the New Testament in a gift box to the whole class. The director and the head teacher accused girls in violation of the charter of the school and demanded to apologize to classmates.

On December 28, the father of the girls met with the school administration, Pastor of the Moscow Church of Evangelical Christians "Word of Life" Pavel Yudin. Representatives of the educational institution demanded that he give a promise that his daughters will no longer give religious literature to classmates, because this is religious propaganda. The pastor refused to make such a promise, so how, in his opinion, the distribution of the New Testament does not contradict the law: the girls decided to make gifts to friends on their own initiative, bought books with their own money, and handed them out at recess, and not during the educational process.

P. Yudin believes that the actions of teachers are aimed at insulting his daughters on religious grounds. In addition, he called a person who introduced himself as an employee of the Commission on Juvenile Affairs, and threatened register his daughter and initiate a criminal case on the fact of distribution at the School of Religious Literature.

The teachers deny the fact pressure on pastor's daughters. Head teacher of the school Elena Bazhenova emphasized that parents of other students may not agree that their children are in school distribute religious literature, so the class teacher asked students to return books to donors.
