The Kryashen temple in Tatarstan was robbed
On the night of January 10-11, 2011, the Intercession Church in the village of Bolshie Aty, Nizhnekamsk region of Tatarstan, was robbed. The robbers entered the church through the window, straightening the bars, and took away six ancient icons and several items of church utensils. Attracted by gold weights, the thieves smashed the kiot of the “Tenderness” icon.
