It was decided to create a peacekeeping mission under the Interreligious Council of Russia

On January 17, 2011, it was decided to establish under Interreligious Council of Russia for a special peacekeeping mission. As part of the mission three groups should be formed: information and monitoring, legal and a conflict response team.

It is planned that in order to prevent and resolve conflicts, the mission will interact with government authorities and public organizations.

Let us recall that earlier the head of the Synodal Department for Relations between the Church and society, Archpriest Vsevolod Chaplin proposed to create such a group and involve participation in it Orthodox-patriotic organizations. Sources
