In January 2011, it became known that 17 December last year in St. Petersburg, in different districts of the city, were beaten two foreign students studying at the Pedagogical Institute: one visitor from Korea, and the second from China.
Both victims were suddenly attacked company of teenagers who brutally beat them. About the robbery, none of cases have not been reported.
Victims themselves say they were beaten just for fun, and they attribute it to the growth of xenophobia in Russian society.
The students did not file a complaint with the police.
