A new sentence was handed down to Nikolai Avdyushenkov

January 27, 2011 world the court of district No. 323 of Moscow issued an indictment verdict to the activist of the "Other Russia" Nikolay Avdyushenkov. He's found guilty under part 2 of Art. 282.2 (participation in activities banned organization) of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation) and sentenced to a year in prison conditionally.

Recall that he was accused in posting national-bolshevik leaflets, but pleaded not guilty, claiming that on the day when he allegedly pasted, he was in his apartment, where the search took place.

We do not consider it legal any prosecution under this article, so how illegal was the ban on the NBP for extremism.

This is the second sentence Avdyushenkov for this article. In September 2009 he was sentenced to a year of probation with a probationary period of 2 years.

On March 14, 2011, the Babushkinsky District Court of Moscow overturned this sentence due to the statute of limitations.
