Leader of the “Another View” movement beaten in Syktyvkar

January 29, 2011 in Syktyvkar (Komi Republic) three unidentified men attacked on the leader of the public organization "Another Look" (Komi) Artem Kalinin, while shouting homophobic insults.

A police patrol passing by did not stop and did not intervene in what was happening.

One of the attackers hit the leader of Another Look on the head. After the activist fell and lost consciousness, the young people fled the scene.

January 31, 2011 the victim left a statement to the police department in the city Syktyvkar and passed a forensic medical examination, which recorded traces beatings.
