"Evening Ryazan" was able to challenge the warning of Roskomnadzor

February 21, 2011 Zheleznodorozhny Ryazan court declared illegal warning invalid extremist activity, issued Roskomnadzor of the editorial office of the newspaper "Evening Ryazan" in November 2010.

The warning concerned the article "Be alert." Roskomnadzor saw in her signs of social arousal hatred for the police. We considered the warning is invalid because the article did not contain calls for violence, and also because we do not consider it possible use of anti-extremist legislation to protect the police like groups.

The representatives of the editorial board of the newspaper convince the court that the employees law enforcement agencies are not social group.

Note that this article is one of grounds on which, with regard to employees of the newspaper was initiated criminal case under Art. 282 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (inciting national and social hatred). Sources
