Patriarch Kirill hosted officials to discuss the prospects for implementing the law “On the transfer of religious property to religious organizations”

On February 22, 2011, Patriarch Kirill received officials in Chisty Lane in order to “discuss the prospects for the implementation” of the Federal Law of the Russian Federation “On the Transfer of Religious organizations of property of religious purpose, located in the state or municipal property .

The meeting was attended by Deputy Prime Minister HELL. Zhukov, Chairman of the Committee for Public Associations and religious organizations S.A. Popov, Chairman of the Committee for Culture G.P. Ivliev, Deputy Minister of Economic Development of the Russian Federation I.E. Manylov, Deputy Director of the Department of Culture and Education D.V. Tchaikovsky and other persons, among whom there were no representatives of the museum community.

On behalf of the Russian Orthodox Church, Archpriest Vsevolod was present at the meeting. Chaplin and the head of the legal service of the Patriarchate Ksenia (Chernega).
